That's the first time I've seen Rick with a Gibson ES.

I was at this concert.

There's a good circulating DVD of those. No Tom Petersson, but really solid show. Think this was on Soundstage originally.

Sorry, but this sounds horrible (and I know it's not the final mix - but, well - it's not the final mix, which is maybe why it sounds horrible). The original In Color is way superb and was in most critic's top ten list of 1977 releases.

Does anyone have the full show? Peter Frampton couldn't perform so CT, the opener, did a double and rocked the Rocks. Wish AXS would have released the entirety. Thank you for all the CT gems you've shared with the universe.

l saw them 1st in Dallas Tx backing up the Car's in the late 70s. l saw them several times after. The best was the All shook up tour. They were on top of their game. All-time greatness that rivaled any band live.

I kinda dig when a completely clueless reporter is charged with interviewing anyone actually but especially heavy rock bands. Dionne Warwick here is brilliantly dim and out of her depth. Makes for unintentional humor.

Cheap Trick was my first concert too in ' 85 standing on the edge warfield sf.. magic

Robin does have a calming speaking voice. It would be nice to hear him speak. Love Ric, but he dominates all of the interviews.

Seen em many times. Cheap Tricks 1st album and In Color were major influences in my young teen life. The version of “I want you to want me” here is so skiffle. Loving this.
